A Far Country

Peace --- harmony --- comfort
in a country not far away.

One dictator --- wants it all.
Will fight to make it his ---

One shot rings out --- then more
One bomb sent --- then another.

Cities destroyed --- lives lost.
The dictator is happy.
His men are not .....
at least some of them .....
More cities destroyed.
Large immigration to a nearby country.
The President is sad for his land.

People dying --- people living.
Some giving up --- some going on.

They love their country,
and fight for it to survive.

What do they have that unites them?
Brotherhood.
A will to go on.
Help from other nations ----
And a banner of yellow and blue.

Ukraine ---
We Stand with you!
